Queen Esther
Sings Black Americana & Jazz
Live Music at The Norwood
Wednesdays at 7pm
$20 cover
Built in the 1840s, The Norwood is a private members only club located in a five story Victorian brownstone townhouse on the edge of the Meatpacking District in the West Village. The house has been a NYC Landmark since 1978 and on the National Register of Historic Places since 1979. It is one of the few townhouses of its type still extant in Manhattan.
Here's your chance to spend an evening exploring The Norwood -- a place that isn't usually open to the public -- while listening to Queen Esther's original Black Americana, Lady Day's lost classics and intimiate pop (re)arrangements.
See you soon.
