Queen Esther is a finalist in the 2015 NewSong Music Contest! Queen Esther is one of ten finalists in the 2015 NewSong Music Contest. Each artist or group will perform at Lincoln Center on January 7th, 2016 for a chance to win the ‪#‎NSM Grand Prize. The Mountain Stage/NewSong Contest deadline is November 27th! Now in its 14th year, it’s one of North America’s premier showcases of emerging performing songwriters across an array of genres. NewSong is an independent music organization with the following two-fold mission: To build a supportive community of performers and songwriters across all genres of music and levels of skill. To identify the truly exceptional artists within this community and to work closely with them to develop their careers and introduce their music to a broader, international audience. Queen Esther is a finalist in the NewSong Competition! Queen Esther is a finalist in the NewSong Competition, to be held at New York City’s Lincoln Center on Saturday, November 15th. There are two sets: 3pm – 5:30pm (semifinals) and 7pm – 9pm (finals). Admission is free.  For more information, click here. Now in its 13th year, the NewSong Contest is one of the premier showcases of emerging performers and songwriters in North America. Twelve finalists will perform and compete in the live performance showcase and competition at Lincoln Center. One grand prize winner will be awarded an EP to be produced and mixed by Pat Sansone (Wilco, The Autumn Defense) and recorded at Echo Mountain Recording Studios in Asheville, North Carolina, as well as future performance opportunities at the Sundance Film Festival, Lincoln Center and NPR’s Mountain Stage.
