Hank Williams 94th Birthday Celebration at Jalopy Sunday, September 17th at 8pm – 11pm Jalopy Theater 315 Columbia St. Brooklyn, NY 11231 Join a collection of NYC’s best musicians, celebrating the life and legacy of Hank Williams. William’s is considered one of the most important performers and songwriters of the 20th century, with 35 singles making the Top 10 for Billboard Country and Western, and 11 number 1 hits, including “Hey Good Looking,” and “There’s a Tear in My Beer.” Jalopy owner Geoff Wiley hosts the night. “Hank Williams is America’s country-singing bard. His songs and lyrics are so influential as to have changed the very way American’s speak their own language, and all by the age of 29,” said Wiley.
