STATE OF THE ARTS
Fri, Dec 1, 2017 5:00 PM
LEONARD BERNSTEIN, QUEEN ESTHER AND LINDA NOCHLIN
This week on State of the Arts NYC, we will have the Co-Founder of New York Festival of Song, Michael Barrett as we talk about their celebration honoring the Leonard Bernstein Centenary. Also joining us this Friday is the singer Queen Esther to help us kick off the holiday season in song — LIVE in the studio. Then we will have a very special reading of women artists, curators and creative professionals, including WBAI women producers, reading the essay “Why Have There Been No Great Women Artists?” by the late Linda Nochlin.
